Bubblemakers Program
For 8-10 year old children (and parents if they want). Kids experience SCUBA diving under water in a pool under close supervision and instruction of a certified PADI Scuba Instructor.
Meets at the Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center. Classes run Saturdays from 12:15 PM to 2:15 PM and Sundays from 9 AM-11 AM. To reserve a spot, please email Justin Rhodes, the instructor with the preferred date and time. Cost is $100 per person. Non-refundable. Includes access to all the equipment needed. Consider purchasing a shorty wet suit, and your own mask, fins and snorkel here. Bring a bathing suit and a towel. Parents are welcome to come watch or participate.
**Important Requirements** Children must know how to swim. At the beginning of the class, participants will be asked to float for 1 minute unassisted (pretending they are jellyfish), then swim comfortably for 25 yards on top of the water and under water for 2 yards (pretending they are seals).
